Just a very quick blog to congratulate the students and staff of Bispham High School. I’ve just seen their final performance of Boogie Nights – and I’ve no need to go to the West End, as I’ve seen the better version.
Whoever had the idea of the ‘mock’ health and safety public information films deserves a knighthood, and the staff participation in the spoof adverts and Top of the Pops had even me laughing.
A special well-done to the star of the show Ben Gillet – his world-weary cynicism as Roddy had a charm all of its own. Shane Ritchie better watch out.
