I’m appalled to learn that the Government and Environment Agency have now granted Canatxx permission to discharge brine 2km off the coast from Rossall. The Environment Agency had originally opposed the decision because of the damage it would do to marine life and the coast in general. If they objected back then, what’s changed? Not content with the flooding problems caused by the Environment Agency’s ineptitude nationwide, now they’re inflicting brine on us.
