More evidence that Labour Lancashire are inept – over a quarter of Lancashire pavements are not even safe to walk on. These latest figures from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy underline existing concerns that the County Council is failing to keep road surfaces up to an adequate standard.
This compounds existing concerns that Labour are failing to keep the roads adequately resurfaced.
Just imagine all the extra compensation claims this leads to!

Dear Mr Maynard,
I have just been reading you comments on the unsafe pavings in Blackpool, However the one thing that is a constant annoyance is the cyclists who are forever using our pavements as a road, I may be wrong but is it not an offence to ride a bicycle on the footpath?, Yet they are a danger to the Elderly & The In-firmed,
I have in the past made meny a comment about this to the police but nothing has ever been done.
